The First State Hokies will be participating in the Virginia Tech Big Event on Saturday, April 2nd by volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. We will be working on the 800 block of Bennett St. in Wilmington, DE where Habitat has 12 homes almost ready for occupancy.
Volunteers must register with BOTH Habitat for Humanity and First State Hokies in order to participate. The Habitat enrollment must be completed by Friday, March 25th so that Habitat can know how many volunteers they will have available for April 2nd and properly assign our group work. Note: There is a max of 10 volunteers so sign up asap! Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age.
